Fire & Water

June 29th, 2012 - Vernon, Canada

Last night/this morning, we stayed up until 6:30am finishing up the last masters of our album!  It's sent off and officially in production at this very moment.  We should have the hard copies early next week, and then we release the album on Friday, July 6th!  Exciting!  It was amazing listening to the album in sequence, sleep deprived, delirious and stoked, as the final masters bounced.  15 hours a day for two weeks, and 18 hours yesterday, and Fire & Water is complete.  We think you'll love it. :)

Visas, check!

June 19th, 2012 - Vernon, Canada

India!  Our visas finally came, and we are ready to depart on our year-long journey.  Culture shock is sure to inspire some fresh grooves, and the assault on our senses will definitely create some interesting soundscapes.  Armed with a guitar, ukulele, our voices, and whatever instruments come our way on the road, we will be writing and recording new music non-stop with our Zoom H4n field recorder.  We also intend to record live video takes of songs, which will be available at www.youtube.com/soundsplashmusic.  This may be difficult with India's slow and intermittent internet capabilities, but as long as we can find a place to upload, we will do so.  We're looking forward to it!  It's going to be an amazing journey... July 9th is our departure date.
